After a specially sunny summer, a series of dark stories were written by my father.
I decided to bring them to life through a series of illustrations that depict the twisted side of an ice-cream filled afternoon. Killer parasols, run-away mermaids and dangerous pieces of swimming clothes are some of the characters that inhabit this beaches.

About the artist:
I’ve drawn since I remember but it was thanks to a Princess Mononoke matinee my dad decided to do on my birthday party that I started to take it seriously. From then on, I never stopped.
From japanese animation, comic and animal books, everything was an inspiration for the stories I wanted to tell.

I studied Communication Design in Portugal, but illustration just ended up being my all time passion.
I moved to Berlin looking for a brighter future in 2011 and since then I’ve been working on my own projects and with collaboration with some studios.
